Aww thank you guys!

I created a pair from scratch and an old pair of crop pants last year (sadly with no pockets- the base pair didn't have any and I didn't think to add them until it was too late) and ever since I have had people ask where I got them, where to get the pattern etc. So now I am finally getting to the point where I can do both, all thanks to White Rabbit.

And made sure to add that pocket this time. Because pockets are LIFE and one can never have enough!

I got my white rabbit prototype pair completed! The picture is not the best, as it is of an entire outfit I made for my spawn. But the pattern worked like a dream and now I am working on grading it to other sizes. Ren Faire season had me super busy and exhausted so I haven't been playing around as such, but with it over I am diving headlong back in!

But luckily, after weeks of programming like crazy, I finally thought to check on the forum only to get this wonderful surprise!

For your "spawn" ...that's adorable!
Those pants have such a fun look to them, that's great! One can tell your renaissance fair influences, yet, you've managed to give them a timeless touch, not the least of which comes from the jovial fabric. ...super sweet!

Awww, we used to love those fairs, too. There's no such thing around here as far as we know, but in these insane times it's anyway not too likely to find some.

There's a new update finally coming very, very soon! We've got probably some of the most amazing stuff ready for you all, but I'll write a proper post on that when the time is right.

My kid has been Spawn since they were little, a sort of joke since I was a single mom when I introduced them. It also causes my older relatives to clutch their pearls, because they assume demonspawn, which is furthest from the truth. My kid is a pretty good kid.

Honestly, I recommend this software to everyone who sews and makes their own patterns. It has given me the freedom to draft in the small space that I have. And for that I am truly grateful. Thank you so much for all the work you do!

You've already had a special place in my heart, even before you called your kid your spawn, hahaha, and I saw that as a deeply inclusive sign of total affection. Any actual demon spawn like child would probably rather prompt you to speak of your little angel, hahahaha!

Oh, Ashley, the upcoming update is so packed with incredible improvements. I really can't wait for us to release it. But a few more things have to get finished, which simply take a moment for the tedium they are. Chief of which is our otherwise totally amazing language integration. This one allows people to easily translate the software inside of the software, making it possibly to virtually click on any feature (and even words in some cases) and get all related texts in a neat little window with text input fields for the respective translation. Then you can save a new language file- or edit an existing one- and share it by sending it to us and we will try to evaluate it as best we can. Then it can go public. This way even a small developer like us can eventually get translations for the whole world by people, who know what they're doing. In other words: Even translating is fun in White Rabbit!

But the best stuff is already done and working. Maybe a bit more testing, but it seems to be solid. I should make a proper post in the news section. I may wait until we have a clear idea when it'll go out.

I actually just made another pair for myself (for a funeral, unfortunately, because the service was outside in December and my traditional funeral dress is decidedly not a winter one) out of a fun black and white houndstooth knit I found in my go-to fabric store. I got so many compliments. I want to make a pair out of stretch velvet to see how they would look (I wanted to orginally make them out of black velvet but no one had it anywhere near me). One thing I adore about these pants is the ability to dress them up or dress them down. I will try and get a picture soon of the houndstooth pants.
